How do I adjust start time?

Check with your provider to find out the length of time they allow in your plan.

In the settings adjust the timer to just below this time. Click done.

Back on the main page click reset and the timer will now countdown from your new time. If the timer is running press pause before reset.

What happens when my time is up?

You will see and hear the following alerts:

• The timer will beep with 10 minutes to go
• Beep again at 5 minutes to go
• Starts to flash at 10 seconds to go
• Beeps and flashes at 5 seconds to go
• Timer Over sound at Zero

I want to hear the alert times when my Phone Timer is running

Make sure the volume of your device is turned up and make sure your Phone is not muted.

In the settings turn the "timer sounds" to ON.

I don't want to hear the alert sounds

You have 3 options:

• Turn your mute on
• Turn your device sound down
• In the settings turn the "timer Sounds" to OFF

My device is going to sleep after I have started the timer running

In order for you to hear the timer alerts the device has to be awake.

In settings set "keep device awake" to ON.

If you manually put the devise to sleep after starting the timer - by pressing the button at the top and turning your screen off, the timer will not be able to alert you until you turn the device back on. If all the time has elapsed then the alert will be sounded immediately you turn the device back on.

In order for the Phone Timer to work properly please leave your device on for the duration of the timer.

When I re-awaken my device (i.e. turn my screen back on again) I hear the alert sound straight away

This means that your time has elapsed during the time when your screen was switched off and your device was in sleep mode so Phone Timer couldn't alert you.

In this instance Phone Timer will give the alert sound immediately you re-open Phone Timer - even though the timer may have elapsed a while ago.

Please leave your phone in wake mode and the Phone Timer open for the duration of the timer.

I have changed the timer settings but the reset button won't work

The reset button is disabled while the timer is running.

Press pause and then press reset again. The timer will now reset to the timer length chosen in the settings.

Can I close the app and open other apps while the Phone Timer is running?

Yes, just remember to open Phone Timer again in good time. it will appear as if the countdown has continued in the background and your countdown will be unaffected by closing and re-opening Phone Timer. Remember that Phone Timer has to be open for the alerts, so just remember to re-open Phone Timer in good time!
